/ The Iraqi under-14 tennis team achieved, on Tuesday, third place in the regional qualifiers for West and Central Asia, which concluded its competitions in the Omani capital, Muscat.
The head of the Iraqi Tennis Federation, Saif Al-Ugaili, told Agency, “The Iraqi team won third place in the doubles competition, through the players Ahmed Muhannad and Hassan Ali.”
He added, “The player Ahmed Muhannad ranked seventh in the individual competition, while his teammate Hassan Ali ranked tenth in the same event.”
It is noteworthy that the championship competitions took place in the Sultanate of Oman for the period from 8 to 16 January.
