Iron Maiden will kick off their “Run For Your Lives World Tour” on May 27 next year with two nights in Budapest, followed by 27 stadium, festival, and arena shows across Europe. The tour marks the 50th anniversary of the band founded by Steve Harris in late 1975. To celebrate this milestone, Maiden fans are promised a very special setlist spanning the nine studio albums from IRON MAIDEN to FEAR OF THE DARK, along with their most spectacular and elaborate show ever!
Tickets will be available from Wednesday, September 25, at 10 AM in an exclusive online presale at CTS Eventim. General ticket sales will begin on Friday, September 27, at 10 AM. As usual, there will be an exclusive presale for Iron Maiden fan club members starting on Monday, September 23, at 10 AM. More information can be found at https://www.ironmaiden.com/. Massive Years for Iron Maiden
We will play classics and fan favorites from the first nine albums, from IRON MAIDEN to FEAR OF THE DARK, many of which we haven’t played in years, and many we probably won’t play again in the future. We have been working hard for months to put together an even more spectacular and elaborate new show that will bring the songs to life more than we ever could before. For Iron Maiden and of course for Eddie, these will be some massive years, and we are very excited about what we still have in store for you fans throughout our entire 50th year. I promise you will all be very happy!”
Special guests for the first half of the tour, including the outdoor shows in London and Dublin, except for the UK arenas, will be American rockers Halestorm. The second half of the tour will feature Sweden’s Avatar as guests. Finally, the British metal band The Raven Age will open all UK and Ireland shows. At the festivals, the announced festival billing will, of course, apply.
