The high school finals in volleyball took place under the leadership of the Sports Association for Schools in Israel and the national supervision of physical education and in cooperation with the municipality of Ashdod, at the “Toto Kariya” hall in the city. The event, which was held on Thursday 03/02/23, which was attended by about 1,000 male and female student fans, included two final competitions for the four best teams in Israel after they qualified from the semi-finals.

The first game was opened by the girls’ teams, when the “Urban D” high school from Tel Aviv competed against the “Galili” high school from Kfar Saba. City IV won with an impressive result 1:3. Mika Hoz, from the Ironi D team, was chosen as an outstanding actress and received an award sponsored by Samsung from Guy Dagan, the MPMR and in charge of physical education at the Ministry of Education.

After that, the boys’ teams competed, “Mvo’at Iron” high school from the Menashe regional council against “Ma’ayan Hashar” high school from Emek Hefer. Iron introductions also won 1:3. Shahar Adar, from the Iron entrance team, was chosen as an outstanding player and received an award sponsored by Samsung from Guy Dagan, the MPMR and the supervisor of physical education in the Ministry of Education.

It is of utmost importance to be there and make sure that the next generation of volleyball grows up to be a professional and high-quality generation. The mere holding of the championships starting at young ages will preserve the high-quality Israeli volleyball that is so loved by many and many.”
