Is cyber attack responsible for air traffic damage? White House denial

by time news

WASHINGTON: The President’s House has said that cyber attack was not responsible for the disruption of US air traffic. Yesterday there was a sudden failure in the computer server of the Federal Aviation Administration, which is the passenger air service control center in the United States. Due to this the air service was severely affected. Hundreds of flights were ordered to make emergency landings due to a server glitch.

Regarding this, the flight monitoring website says that there was a delay in the service of 10,000 domestic and foreign flights in the United States. Another 1,300 flights were cancelled, it said. Due to this, the passengers suffered a lot. There were reports that the glitch was caused by a cyber attack.

White House press secretary Karen Jean-Pierre said, “There is no evidence of a cyber attack.” The safety of American travelers is paramount. “President Joe Biden has ordered the Secretary of Transportation to conduct a full investigation into the matter,” he said.
