New revelations have surfaced about his wife Madhulika, who was killed along with her husband Pipin Rawat in a helicopter crash.
General Pipin Rawat, Commander-in-Chief of India’s 3rd Battalion, was killed in a helicopter crash on Wednesday. Thirteen people, including his wife Madulika Rawat, were killed in the accident.
Madhulika, wife of Pipin Rawat, hails from Shodol district in Madhya Pradesh. Madulika Rawat hails from Sohagpur, which is located in Shodhol.
His father Mrekendra Singh is no longer alive. He is a former legislator of the Congress party. Pipin Rawat last visited Shodol in 2012. Madhulika Rawat completed her early studies at Shodol. After that he went to Gwalior for higher studies and studied at Cynthia School.
Later, he graduated from the University of Delhi. Pipin Rawat and Madhulika were married in 1986. Both have two daughters.
