Now Musa Sontonio explains why he left Islam. A letter from prison is now viral. This letter explains the reason for leaving Islam. Serntonio says IS must be destroyed and wiped out of the world.

His real name is Robert Certonio. He was born into an Irish Catholic family. He converted to Islam at the age of 17. And then went to the Philippines. He started a YouTube channel after converting to Islam and encouraged young people to engage in terrorist activities. Many young people fell for the discourse and became involved in terrorism.

In 2016, Musa and four of his followers were detained by Australian authorities on suspicion of plotting to sail into Indonesia with the intention of joining IS. He is currently being held in an Australian prison.

In June 2021, Serntonio rejected ISIS and acknowledged his role in promoting terrorism. In a letter sent from Melbourne’s Port Philippe prison last year, Serntonio says he left IS.
