Delyan Peevski made the unknown Alexander Neychev popular within a minute of his appearance, describing him as the person through whom the president puts pressure on the candidate for prime minister Goritsa Kozhareva for the future ministers.

Unconfirmed rumors of “Positano” lead to the administrative secretary in the building, Alexander Neychev, who first drew the attention of the leader (Cornelia Ninova) to the career of Gen. Rumen Radev. However, exactly how he noticed it is not clear.

In 2012, Neychev Sr. had to vacate a municipal apartment in Smolyan, which he illegally used, after he was no longer in the regional administration. Alexander was investigated for misappropriation of municipal funds in his capacity as deputy mayor of the Nedelino municipality, which he was until 2011. During the time of the “Oresharski” cabinet, he was briefly director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. He was released after Boyko Borisov won his third management mandate.
In 2021, Neychev left “Positano” 20. Officially – by mutual agreement with the leadership of the BSP, unofficially – because of the rift between Ninova and Radev. The hot gossip was that
the separation came after Kaloyan Metodiev caught him talking to the president’s chief secretary
Dimitar Stoyanov in the summer of the same year. Before that, Metodiev himself was briefly the head of the presidential cabinet, then he passed into the inner circle of the leader Ninova and she included him in the lists of the 50th National Assembly, but the group excluded him and now he is an independent deputy. Then Ninova suspected that because Neychev to Radev has a leak of information about what is happening at “Positano”.
Then, in June 2021, the financier docked on the Board of Directors of the South Central State Enterprise. It stayed there for months. With the arrival of the “Petkov” cabinet, BSP MP Ivan Ivanov became the Minister of Agriculture and Neychev was replaced in the forest enterprise by the municipal social leader in Smolyan Milko Gavazov.
