Colombian palates have held a historical debate about which regional dish is more delicious: the bandeja paisa or the ajiaco. The ChatGPT tool entered the discussion and gave his answer about What is the tastiest dish in Colombia.
A consultant on the bot platform asked the tool which typical dish is the most delicious. He limited the answer to the most recognized dishes in the country.
The tool, although it was expected to deliver a definitive verdict -as it has done on previous occasions to define the best soccer club in Colombia-, preferred to be diplomatic.

“The ajiaco and the bandeja paisa are two traditional dishes of Colombian cuisine which are very popular in different regions of the country”, indicated the tool.
Next, he said that each dish has its own distinctive characteristics and flavors, so, he pointed out, it cannot be said that one dish is better than the other.

“However, I can describe the characteristics of each dish so that you can have a better idea of what they offer,” added the bot.
Al ajiaco described it as a hot soup that is accompanied by shredded chicken, potatoes, sweet corn, capers, cream and avocado.
“It is a forceful dish that originated in the Antioquia region and that due to its popularity is found throughout the country. It’s a combination ground beef or chicharrón, beans, rice, fried egg, fried plantain, chorizo, arepa and avocado”, was the description of ChatGPT for the bandeja paisa.
Although the bot did not define which dish is better, it assured that in Colombia there is a wide culinary wealth and that tourists should try it.
