Thiruvananthapuram: The monsoon is likely to intensify in the coming days in the state, the Met office said. The Kerala Meteorological Department on Thursday forecast heavy rains with thunder and lightning in the next few days. Isolated heavy showers are likely on June 3, 5 and 6. According to this, yellow alert has been issued in five districts of the state today. Yellow alert was issued in Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts today.
