In Chennai, the price of 22 carat jewelery gold has been fixed at Rs 4736 per gram today (September 5). 24 carat 99.99 percent pure gold is priced at Rs.5138 per gram and Sawaran at Rs.41104.
So gold has increased by Rs.14 per gram compared to yesterday’s price. Ornamental gold was seen at Rs 4722 per gram yesterday.
Silver price
Silver fell to Rs 58 per gram on September 1 and has been rising at regular intervals since then. In that way, compared to yesterday’s price, today it is 30 cents per gram and Rs. 300 per kg.
Currently, a kg of silver is fixed at Rs.58,500. Last month, a gram of silver traded above Rs.64. Looking at it, silver has fallen by almost Rs.6 thousand.
