The draw for the qualifying stages for Euro 2024 gave Israel a house without a significant European star, but teams that will be a significant obstacle to the Israeli team’s chances of advancing to the Euro tournament.
Switzerland, Romania, Kosovo, Belarus and Andorra are the teams drawn together with Israel in group 9 of the qualifying round. The leading team at home is of course Switzerland, while Romania is considered to be in the same ranking as Israel, but has a richer history of high-level competitions.
Kosovo and Belarus are considered inferior to Israel, but if we learn from past experience, these are the games to watch out for. Andorra is the team with the least chances to advance from this group.
