The film, starring Alia Bhatt and Samuthirakani, is said to be the story of two soldiers who lived during the freedom struggle. It will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. The release date of the film was postponed several months ago due to reasons including Corona being ready. This is where the 25th release comes in.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has recently defined cinema ticket prices. Accordingly, a maximum fee of Rs 120 was fixed in separate theaters. It was also announced that theatrical owners would be able to set the fees for films with a budget of over Rs 100 crore per week for the release of the film. At the same time, it was stipulated that at least 30% of the films should have been shot in Andhra Pradesh. The state government had categorically stated that all these procedures would apply only to films that are now being prepared. But the RRR image was also taken before this order. So it became impossible to get new offers.

In this situation, the RRR film crew has met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and submitted a petition. The petition said, “The RRR film has been made at a cost of Rs 336 crore excluding the salaries of the director and the actors. 80% of the filming was done in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is a film about two honorable warriors of Telugu soil. Therefore, a special offer should be given to this film. ”
Following the request of the film crew, the Andhra Pradesh government has given permission to the theater owners to fix the theater fees for the first 10 days of the RRR film.
