Actor and director Parthiban, who likes innovation in the film industry, has a thirst to give different stories to the audience. He worked as an assistant director under Pakyaraj and became an actor and director with the film New Path. Since then he has directed several films including Inside Out, Housepool, Umbrella Rain, Comfortable Load, Similar Sandals, Shadow of the Night.
The film directed by him is a film with a different story in terms of story, screenplay, dialogue and direction. In the film, an assistant director would have said what he strives to direct the film. He would have taken the climax scene of the film differently.
Speaking recently about this film, Parthiban said, ‘The story of this film is very different. Even my assistant directors said that the audience will not understand this story. After finishing the film, I called 20 people including the producer and showed the film. Not even one of them liked the film. They said peace and left. Trust me, the producer has invested so much money. I went to the hospital thinking what to do if this film also failed.
After that my health was perfect and I thought patiently. Film buffs will watch movies like that. They look serious without smiling anywhere. I asked them to bring the youth from your house and watch the film. They liked the film. So, we released the film based on that. Fans liked it too. After the end of the film, the fans applauded and left. It was my dream’ said Parthiban.
