Blue Sattai Maran: As accolades are pouring in for National Award winner Suriya, controversial critic Blue Sattai Maran has released a statement about it.
The movie Soorarai Poduttu released for Diwali last year 2020 starring actor Surya. The film was directed by Sudha Kongara. The film was based on various interesting incidents that happened in the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath who introduced flight tickets for 1 rupee.
Surya played the role of Mara in this. Along with Aparna Balamurali, Karunas, Kali Venkat, Urvashi, KK, Vivek Prasanna played the lead roles. GV Prakash composed the music for the film. The film was released directly on the OTT platform.
While praises are pouring in for the National Award winner Suriya and the film crew in praise of Soorar, controversial critic Blue Shirt Maran has disclosed that there is politics behind Suriya’s National Award. In other words, Suriya’s manager Thangadurai was included in the National Film Award committee. Referring to the post posted by Bismi as if it was because of him that Surya got the award, he posted “Mr. Surya… I am waiting for your reply”.
