The six remaining candidates have now been in the jungle camp for almost two weeks. It’s no surprise that bickering and arguments break out after such a long time. Several participants were annoyed by Kim Virginia, who apparently can’t get over her affair with Mike Heiter and is therefore boycotting the budding romance between him and Leyla Lahouar. Now Twenty4Tim briefly replaced Kim as camp exciter.
The fact that the 23-year-old ignored the rules in the camp and dried his things by the fire even though it wasn’t raining really upset Leyla and Fabio Knez. The confrontation was not long in coming. “We are a team and we have to pull together. You’ve been here for over a week,” said Fabio.
The fact that Tim also talked extensively about the upcoming release of a new song displeased several fellow campers – as did the fact that he proudly bragged about the number of his subscribers and his own perfume, which he has brought onto the market. “Tim is here for promotion, he doesn’t need it financially. It’s a kind of promotional tour. To be treated with caution,” warned Fabio.
Felix von Jascheroff, who was voted out in the last episode, also expressed skepticism: “Tim uses the jungle to expand his reach. We all do that, let’s be honest. But I ask myself: what makes Tim tick? At A lot is planned for him.” He also expressed his skepticism directly to Tim and accused him of doing a show, which he denied.
Leyla also suspected that Tim could be quite calculating. “I think there were a lot of topics he knew he wanted to talk about here,” she speculated, suggesting that Tim checked off the topics he wanted to address.
Viewers’ opinions vary
Tim also lost sympathy points among some viewers on Thursday evening. “I saw Tim as a king, but the way he portrays himself now, he can forget that,” wrote someone on X (formerly Twitter). “He’s doing himself a disservice,” another person agreed.
However, many users also defended him and could not understand the allegations. “Sorry, but Tim is just real. But the main thing is that they’re trying to badmouth him all the time,” “I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all that Tim presents himself. Isn’t that what the show is for?” or “The others constantly talk about themselves and how great they are, why is it a problem with Tim?” can also be read.
