Forbes India honored young entrepreneur Isha Ambani with the ‘GenNext Entrepreneur’ award. Forbes, the leading business magazine, annually honors the best in leadership in India. In that regard, Isha Ambani, who is the chairman of Reliance Retail, has been given the Next Generation Entrepreneur of the Year award. She is the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Limited.
Isha Ambani, who received the Forbes India award, thanked her parents and children Adiya Shakti and Krishna. The 45th Annual General Meeting of India’s leading industrial company Reliance Industries Limited was held in August 2022. At that time, Isha Ambani was introduced as the Chairman of Reliance Retail Business by her father Mukesh Ambani.
Isha Ambani tied the knot with Anand, son of Ajay Pramal, chairman of the Pramal Group, on 12th December 2018. Earlier their engagement was held in Italy in September 2018 with much criticism. A pre-wedding reception at the Udaipur Palace was attended by prominent political leaders, Bollywood celebrities and sportspersons. Former President Pranab Mukherjee, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and others participated in the wedding.
Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani has 3 children. Akash and Isha are twins among them. They are 31 years old. The name of the last son is Anand (age 27). Akash Ambani tied the knot with Shloka, daughter of famous diamond merchant Russell Mehta, in March 2019. The couple has a 2-year-old son, Prithvi.
