Ishan Kishan narrowly escapes the work of eight; He will no longer do that work

Ishan Kishan has been warned by the match referee for his actions in the first match of New Zealand’s tour of India. Match referee Javagal Srinath issued a warning to Ishan Kishan for deliberately trying to mislead the umpires during the match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

Various New Zealand media reported that Ishan Kishan may be banned from all four matches. It was reported that Ishan was charged with making an unnecessary appeal to dismiss New Zealand captain and wicketkeeper Tom Lathat during the match and trying to mislead the on-field umpire.

But Javagal Srinath has decided not to take drastic measures for the time being.

During the match, Ishaan was making a stumping appeal against Tom Latham. Despite the clear conviction that Latham was inside the crease, the player was arguing for an out.

The Indian team started celebrating as the New Zealand captain got out. The main sight was Latham standing there not knowing what had happened. Latham was worried that the incident was a hit wicket.

The field umpire was unable to make a decision and left it to the third umpire. In the replays, Ishan Kishan was seen hitting the bails himself.

This angered Latham. Ishan Kishan completed this work on the very first ball when Latham reached the crease.

Ishan played this abandoned game to make up for the controversial dismissal of Indian vice-captain Hardik Pandya earlier. Although the incident was funny, it was not viewed as such by cricket pundits.

After the third umpire’s wrong decision in the match, Hardik had to walk back to the pavilion.

The third umpire ruled that Hardik was bowled by Kiwis bowler Daryl Mitchell. But it was wicketkeeper Tom Latham’s glove that hit the stumps, not the ball.

This was clearly seen in the replays but the third umpire was in favor of the visitors. This action of the third umpire led to many controversies.

Tom Latham, who faced 46 balls in the match, scored 24 runs and gave the wicket to Siraj. India won the first match by 12 runs.

The dead rubber match of the series is on January 24. The venue is Holkar Stadium.
