The terrorists published an image with the words “Kill them all” and the names of the stadiums where the quarter-final matches will be held: Santiago Bernabeu and Metropolitano in Madrid, Emirates Stadium in London and Parc des Princes in Paris.
Let us recall that ISIS terrorists committed their last terrorist attack on March 22 at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall. Several armed men dressed in camouflage burst inside and opened fire on the spectators with automatic weapons. As a result of the terrorist attack, 143 people were killed and about 200 were injured.
Authorities in Madrid have activated security measures ahead of this week’s Champions League double-header in the Spanish capital. Both matches, Real Madrid v Manchester City and Atlético Madrid v Borussia Dortmund, have been deemed high risk by the anti-violence commission and more than 3,000 security personnel will be deployed. Around 8,000 Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund fans are expected to attend the match.
