Fatorda: Juan Ferrando has taken over as coach of ATK Mohun Bagan. Ferrando arrives in the vacancy left by Antonio Habas. He was the coach of FC Goa. He came to Mohun Bagan when he got a better offer. Mohan Bagan also made an official announcement in this regard.
Goa replaced Ferrando with Sergio Lobera. Barcelona native Nana Fernando has worked with several La Liga clubs and players. Fernando has also coached former Dutchman Robin van Persie and former Spanish midfielder Fabregas.
In the first season, Goa came out on top under Fernando. For him to lead the team to the semi-finals. Fernando coached Goa in 8 matches. He has nine wins and 16 draws. Six matches were lost. But this season did not start well for Fernando.
Meanwhile, assistant coach Clifford Miranda is now in charge of the Goan team. Goa said in a statement that Fernando’s decision to leave the club was “unexpected”.
