Bambolin: Hyderabad FC thrashed defending champions Mumbai City FC (ISL) by three goals to one in a thrilling match in ISL. In the first half, both teams drew 1-1 and in the second half, Hyderabad scored two goals.

For Hyderabad, Joao Victor, Bartholomew Ogbech and substitute 19 – year – old Rohit Danu scored the only goal of the game for Ahmed Jahouh. With the win, Hyderabad jumped from 10th to 5th position in the points table. Mumbai, on the other hand, slipped to fourth position.

Mumbai took the lead in the sixth minute. Ahmed Jaho was the scorer. Jaho split the Hyderabad defense and single-handedly put the ball into the net as spectators watched the defense. But it is just that the celebration of Mumbai did not last long.

The referee awarded a penalty in favor of Hyderabad for knocking down Joel Chianese in the box in the 13th minute. Captain Joao Victor did not miss the spot kick. Hyderabad accompanied Mumbai. The first half created several scoring chances later but neither team was able to convert it into a goal.

However, Hyderabad took the lead early in the second half. Ogbeche gave Hyderabad the lead against his old club. Rohit Danu, who came on as a substitute in the 18th minute, scored Mumbai’s equalizing goal in the 82nd minute. The man of the match is Hyderabad defense captain Joo Victor.
