The board of administrators of two listed corporations have introduced to not pay dividends to shareholders. This resolution has been made for the shareholders after reviewing the audited monetary report for the monetary yr ended December 31, 2023.

On Tuesday (July 2), this data was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Inventory Trade (DSE-CSE).

The two corporations are – Islamic Finance and Funding Restricted and Bangladesh Industrial Finance Firm (BIFC) Restricted, listed within the monetary sector.

Islamic Finance: As per the monetary report for the yr ended, the loss per share (EPS) of the corporate was Rs.(1.64). On June 30, 2023, the corporate’s web property per share stood at Tk 12.42. The annual basic assembly (AGM) of the corporate can be held on August 22 to approve the choice to not pay the dividend. The report date on this regard has been mounted on July 28.

Bangladesh Industrial Finance: In accordance with the monetary report for the yr ended, the corporate had a loss per share of Tk (7.58). As on December 31, 2023, the corporate’s web property per unfavourable share stood at Rs (114.42). The date and time of Annual Common Assembly (AGM) of the corporate to approve the choice to not pay dividend can be intimated later. The report date on this regard has been mounted on August 12.
