The jihadist group Islamic State (IS) announced, this Thursday (3), in an audio recording posted by a spokesman on the Telegram chat application, the death of its leader, Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al- Qurachi. The leader was reportedly killed during clashes with another jihadist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, former local branch of the Al-Qaeda network), in northwestern Syria.
