Islamophobia to the National Union of Students; Muslim students are about to leave the organization

London: Muslim students are preparing to leave the National Union of Students in Britain.

The Federation of Student Islamic Societies (Fosis), the national organization of Muslim students in Britain, and its Muslim students are about to leave NUS.

This is after allegations of Islamophobia were raised against NUS. Phocis has also warned that it will start a disaffiliation campaign against the organization.

The association’s decision came after NUS expelled Shaima Dallali, who was the president
There has been a lot of criticism against Islamophobic attitudes.

Earlier this year, Jewish students accused Dallali of homophobia and anti-Semitism. The allegation was based on Dallali’s old tweets.

But the broker denied these allegations. They also welcomed an inquiry into his actions.

For the first time in the organization’s 100-year history, there was a report that NUS had suspended an elected president. Following this, Phocis said it would urge members to launch UK-wide disaffiliation campaigns against the organisation.

In a statement published on Friday evening, FOSIS said NUS had a clear track record of failing to support Muslim students in elected positions in the organization and in other student unions across Britain.

“Over the years, FOSIS has dealt with cases of Islamophobia experienced by Islamic communities, Muslim sabbatical officers and the Muslim student community in higher education,” the statement said.

Shaima Dallali has not yet responded to her suspension from the post of the organization’s president.
