Islamic Jihad and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire starting at 10:00 p.m. this Saturday (9:00 p.m. in mainland Spain), but after that time arrived, both the rocket launches from the Gaza Strip and the Israeli retaliatory bombings have continued .
Israeli and Turkish sources had confirmed the announcement of the Islamic Jihad on the ceasefire, an initiative proposed by Egypt that contemplated different terms from those of previous proposals, which also failed to materialize.
After the agreed time, the alert sirens have continued to sound in southern Israel, in towns such as Kissufim, Sderot, Nirim or Ein Hashlosha, although there are no specific data on personal or material damage. Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the projectile launch.
The Israeli Army has informed that it continues with the development of the so-called Operation Shield and Arrow in retaliation with the bombing of objectives of the Islamist group.
