The Israeli Air Force continued to strike targets of the Shiite organization Hezbollah throughout the day.
As Day.Az reports with reference to TASS, the army press service reported this.
Since the morning, Israeli planes have attacked dozens of Hezbollah targets throughout Lebanon. Among the targets hit were command posts, weapons depots, individual detachments of armed radicals, launchers and other key infrastructure facilities.
“The Israel Defense Forces will continue to attack Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure and weaken its military capabilities in Lebanon,” the press service said.
On September 23, Israel launched Operation Arrows of the North against Hezbollah in Lebanon, during which massive airstrikes are carried out against military targets of the movement. The main goal of the operation is to create safe conditions in the northern border areas of Israel for the return of tens of thousands of local residents. As a result of one of the strikes on September 27 in Beirut, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrullah was killed, and the movement confirmed his death, promising to continue the confrontation with Israel.
