Israel’s military cabinet has decided to send an Israeli delegation to Qatar in the coming days to continue negotiations on a deal to free hostages held in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Kan radio station, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.

According to her, the decision was made after the ministers heard reports from the negotiators and discussed during a conference call the results of consultations held in Paris on February 23 and 24 with representatives of the United States, Qatar and Egypt to promote a deal with the radical Hamas movement ruling in the Palestinian enclave.

Kan notes that a “delegation of specialists” will be heading to Doha.
