Donald Trump’s vice presidential nominee, James David Vance, has expressed his support for Israel.
The statements are published by the Telegram channel “Voice of Israel”.
In his statements, he stressed that Israel has every right to defend its citizens and territories from aggression.
“Israel has every right to defend itself,” Vance said.
Vance criticized the Biden administration for providing billions of dollars to Iran, arguing that those funds are now being used to finance attacks on innocent Israeli civilians, such as those that occurred on October 7. He insisted that such support must end.
Vance also said that Hamas terrorists, who started the war, are hiding behind Gazans, using them as human shields. He stressed the importance of learning lessons from the past decades, noting that the most important of them is the need to defeat Hamas terrorists.
Vance believes that Israel must be given the opportunity to take the necessary actions to eliminate this threat.
In his comments, Vance also noted that America has always supported the Jewish people.
