West Bank: Israel shot and killed a Palestinian in the occupied West Bank. Three people were injured. Mujahid Ahmad Dawood (31) was shot dead in Kharawat Bani Hasan city. The Israeli army has killed 160 Palestinians this year, including 51 killed in a three-day offensive in Gaza last August.
In recent months, the Israeli army has been conducting searches and firing at Palestinians on a daily basis. Israel says the crackdown is due to an increase in attacks against Israel.
