The Israeli army announced today that it lost four soldiers in Lebanon, BTA reported.

Five people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese city of Saida, the health ministry said, as quoted by Reuters.

The Israeli army said four reservists, aged between 29 and 43, were killed in fighting against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Five Israeli soldiers were wounded, BTA reported.

According to the Israeli army, it has lost a total of 769 soldiers since the start of the wars in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon against the Iran-backed Hamas and Hezbollah movements, respectively.

Two people were slightly injured in northern Israel during a drone attack on an aircraft parts factory, DPA reported.

The unmanned aerial vehicle, launched according to the Israeli army by Hezbollah, was intercepted as it entered the country’s airspace, but nevertheless crashed into the factory building in the town of Bar Lev.

Last night, the Lebanese movement called on the residents of more than 20 Israeli settlements to evacuate immediately, arguing that these settlements are now “legitimate targets” because the Israeli army has bases there.

“Hezbollah” issued such a warning for the first time since the beginning of the conflict more than a year ago, DPA notes.

At least five people were killed and 13 wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Saida, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said in the meantime, as quoted by Reuters.

The statement did not contain details.

At least 1,620 people have been killed in Lebanon in more than a month of fighting, according to an AFP tally based on official figures.
