More than a month after the deadly attacks launched by Hamas in Israel, the country continues to slowly discover new aspects of the crimes committed by members of the Islamist movement’s commandos. According to authorities, 1,200 people have died, many of them massacred. And 239 people were taken hostage. Forty days later, almost a third of the victims remain unidentified. But many of those killed or kidnapped were women, and there are several indications that acts of sexual violence and mutilations were perpetrated. The Israeli police have opened a specific investigation into these cases.
