Israel summoned the Chilean ambassador to Israel for a reprimand conversation after the president of Chile, Gabriel Borich, humiliated the Israeli ambassador in his country and in an unprecedented manner refused to accept the charter from him in protest of the death of a 17-year-old terrorist who was killed by our forces during an exchange of fire with terrorists.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: “Israel takes a serious view of Chile’s puzzling and unprecedented behavior. This seriously harms relations between the countries. The Chilean ambassador to Israel was summoned to the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday for a reprimanding conversation in which Israel’s response will be clarified to the ambassador.”
