The weather today (Tuesday) will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a slight drop in temperatures. During the morning, local showers accompanied by thunderstorms and hail will begin to fall in most areas of the country, and then there is also a fear of floods in the southern and eastern rivers. The winds will strengthen mainly in the Negev. From the afternoon the rains will decrease.

During the night, the rains will begin to intensify again and they will fall in episodes from the north to the north of the Negev. There is a fear of flooding along the coastal plain, and towards morning there is a fear of flooding in the streams of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea.

Yesterday there was heavy rain accompanied by lightning storms, which caused, among other things, flooding in Rishon LeZion. In the village of Bialik in Kiryat, a lightning storm began, and lightning even hit a tree – which caught fire. Firefighters assisted in putting out the fire, no one was injured.
