The sources reported on Monday that a vehicle belonging to a leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah was targeted in an Israeli raid in Lebanon, amidst conflicting reports about his fate.
The sources indicated that “the leader whose car was targeted on the Bint Jbeil highway is the Maroun al-Ras area official for Hezbollah, Muhammad Abdul Rasoul Alawiya,” according to Sky News.
According to information, an Israeli drone targeted a car while it was on a public road in the city of Bint Jbeil, near the government hospital in southern Lebanon, where injuries were confirmed.
For its part, the Russian Sputnik Agency reported that “Israeli warplanes carried out a raid targeting the outskirts of the town of Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon.”
Sputnik Agency published a video clip showing the car with signs of destruction as a result of the targeting.
