Israeli Air Force drones have attacked military targets of the Shiite militia Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. As reported by the Janoubia news portal, the strikes destroyed homes in the villages of Kfar Killa, Markaba and Houla, Day.Az reports, citing TASS.

According to him, rescue teams from the local civil defense service and ambulances were sent to the sites of the strikes. There are reports of civilian casualties.

The drone strike followed rocket fire from Shiite militants into northern Israel. Air raid sirens went off in the early afternoon in the Western Galilee. Katyusha rocket launchers hit settlements within 5-15 km of the border with Lebanon.

According to Al Manar TV channel, since July 22, Hezbollah units have shelled 16 settlements in northern Israel where residents were not evacuated in October 2023.

Gun battles between Israeli troops and Shiite militants took place on Wednesday in the occupied Kfar Shuba Heights. A drone launched from southern Lebanon was spotted in the skies over the settlement of Ayelet HaShahar in the Upper Galilee, and Israeli air defenses opened fire on it.

Hezbollah posted a video on its Telegram channel taken by a drone, which it claims shows the Ramat David airbase, 50 km from the Lebanese-Israeli border. The Shiite militia has indicated that it may soon strike there.
