The Civil Aviation Authority (CABA) said that no Israeli aircraft has landed in Bangladesh.

This information was informed in a press release sent by Mohammad Sohail Kamruzzaman, Deputy Director (Public Relations) of BabyChak on Saturday (April 13).

It is said in the notification that the matter has been published differently in various online magazines and social media under the title ‘Airplane arrived in Dhaka from Israel’, there is a possibility of creating confusion in the public mind. Moreover, such misleading news coverage is considered unintended and purposeful. All concerned are requested to refrain from reporting such news.

Mentioning that there is a bilateral air traffic agreement between Bangladesh and the United States, it is further said that two cargo flights arrived in Dhaka as per the air traffic agreement. Two flights with garments from Dhaka went to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and a destination in Europe.
