Israeli troops continue to operate in the area of ​​the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip due to shelling from there.

“Due to significant terrorist activity and rocket fire from the Khan Yunis area towards the State of Israel, IDF troops continue intelligence-based operational activity in the Khan Yunis area. The troops eliminated terrorists, mainly through sniper fire, and discovered underground terrorist infrastructure in the area,” the statement said.

In addition, in the vicinity of the settlement of Bani Suheila to the east of Khan Yunis, Israeli troops, with the support of aircraft, destroyed a detachment of radicals approaching them in a car, the press service added.

Fighting continues in the area of ​​the city of Rafah on the southern border of the enclave. Several targeted raids were carried out there over the past 24 hours, finding a number of weapons and destroying radical units that posed a threat to Israeli forces.

The Israeli Air Force continues to strike across the Gaza Strip, the army reported. Dozens of targets have been attacked in the past 24 hours, including military installations, observation posts and other infrastructure.
