Gaza: Israel continues to attack Gaza at the beginning of Ramadan. 15 people were killed in the shelling attack on the refugee camp. The Israeli shelling took place in the Nazareth refugee camp. Among the dead are women and children.

US President Joe Biden responded in a television interview that Israel should not overstep the battlefield. Netanyahu’s actions are not helping Israel, but harming them. Joe Biden also asked Netanyahu to pay attention to the safety of innocent people. The US ship returned to Gaza to deliver aid including food supplies.

5 people died yesterday in an accident while delivering food and other essential items by air in Gaza. The cause of the accident was that one of the parachutes attached to the large boxes supplied from the plane failed to deploy and fell down. It fell on those who stood below waiting for help. It is not clear which country was supplying the food items when the accident occurred. Countries including the United States, Jordan, Egypt, France, the Netherlands and Belgium are distributing food items to Gaza. The accident happened around 9.30 local time on Friday.

The United Nations has previously warned that the people of Gaza will starve to death if the current situation continues. It could take weeks for the US temporary port to become operational. American ships will arrive in Cyprus. Apart from food and water, temporary shelter will also be provided.

Earlier, 112 people were killed and 760 injured in Israeli firing on people waiting to buy food in Gaza. The incident took place in the southwestern Gaza Strip.
