The Indian women’s team has won gold in the air pistol competition at the World Cup Sniper.

The World Cup sniper competition is taking place in the Egyptian capital Cairo. The tournament is attended by 500 athletes from 60 countries.
In the women’s 10m air pistol final, the Indian team comprising Srinivasa, Isha Singh and Rusita Vinirkar defeated Germany 16-6 to clinch the gold medal.
In the men’s 10m air pistol event, the Indian men ‘s team lost to Italy 6-16 in the bronze medal match and placed 4th.
