One of the most frequent complaints from health professionals is about the tedious administrative procedures. In most cases, you cannot progress until you have a specific role, but the drawback is the loss of time. With this in mind, the Institute for Social Security and Services of State Workers (ISSSTE) unveiled a new measure to Hire recently graduated residents.

The head of the Institute, Pedro Zenteno, affirmed that now Resident doctors may be hired once they conclude their specialty, while the professional license is being processed. This is a big change because in the past it was mandatory to wait until you have the document to obtain a job.

This way, now young people will be entitled to the 21 insurances, services and benefits provided by the agency. In addition, it will be possible to increase the workforce to strengthen the medical service that the affiliates deserve.

“This is another stimulus for graduates of the specialties; graduates and specialists, both from the National School of Nursing and Research (ENEI) and from the ISSSTE School of Dietetics and Nutrition (EDN), stay to work at the unit”.

He affirmed that with these actions they want to end the backlog of specialists in the institution.
