To recognize public servants their legacy and professional career in each of the institutions that make up the public administration, the Institute for Security and Social Services of State Workers (Issste) will hold a lottery for loans on August 28 exclusively for older adults, informed the general director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella.
This raffle will be held within the framework of the National Day of Older Adults, which is commemorated on August 28. The head of the institute pointed out that the organization reaffirms the commitment to guarantee public policies for the benefit of one million 312 thousand 775 retirees and pensioners with rights. “They are a priority in the transformation of the new ISSSTE,” he stressed.
The director of Economic, Social and Cultural Benefits, Yezmín Lehmann Mendoza, explained that active workers, retirees and/or pensioners older than 65 years old, who have been incorporated into the social security system at the institute for a minimum of six months.
He explained that they should not have a current personal loan or have a debt with ISSSTE for the same concept; In addition, they must have a borrowing capacity that does not exceed 50 percent of the worker’s basic salary or the total pension.
To participate, he indicated, they can carry out the process from the office and/or home by entering the site asissste.issste.gob.mx. If they do not have a computer system, the institute makes available the 35 administrative units in each subdelegation of benefits throughout the country, who have trained personnel to support the registration of affiliated older adults.
They only require having on hand: CURP, their own email or that of a close relative, and cell phone number. “Remember that the process is totally free; In the event that someone requests money to do it, they can report it to the corresponding authorities, ”he said.
