കാActor Vinod Kovur was given a renewal of his driving license nine months ago after his term expired. Followed by controversy. Vinod has regained his driving license after clearing the law.
Although the license expired in 2019, Vinod noticed this a year later. The license can be renewed only after completion of the road test as the expiry date is one year. So Vinod approached a local driving school for this. They were told to take the tests again and paid Rs 6,300 in fees. Dramatic events followed.
Renewal of driving license can be done through the Sarathi website of the Department of Motor Vehicles. The driving school authorities tried to renew the license by leaking a username and password given to motor vehicle inspectors on the Sarathi website to take official action. A message came to the motor vehicle inspector’s phone that someone had logged into the site four times using his username and password. He immediately lodged a complaint with Cybercell, the Department of Motor Vehicles and NIC. A check the next day revealed that he had logged in from the computer at the establishment in Kovur.
A search of the establishment revealed that some of the driving licenses had been renewed. This included the license of Vinod Kovur. With this, the license of the actor and others was canceled.
The vehicle test was approved after several applications were made to the department and the minister. Accordingly, the test of two-wheeler and four-wheeler was conducted. Vinod Kovur is happy to get his license soon.
