New Delhi: Leading IT companies Wipro, Infosys and Tech Mahindra are reportedly withdrawing their offer letters to new candidates.

Indian IT companies are said to face revenue loss due to global economic impact, fear of recession and rising inflation. Experts have already predicted a gradual slowdown in the growth of Indian IT companies in the event of a recession.

As a counter measure, employee benefits are being reduced. TCS has slashed the pay hike for employees by 70 percent. Wipro has announced that there will be no salary hike this year.

In this case, there are reports that leading IT companies like Wipro, Infosys and Tech Mahindra are withdrawing their offer letters after delaying the recruitment of new recruits by 3-4 months.

In the email sent to the candidates from the IT companies, ‘It has been found that you do not fulfill our educational eligibility criteria. Therefore, the assignment letter issued to you is invalid’, it said.

But no explanation has been given on behalf of the IT companies.
