A triumph of extreme tolerance. This is how the journalist from “24 Chasa” Vincent Tanovski determined the victory of the Swiss artist Nemo in “Eurovision”.

Nemo is the first non-binary gender music contest winner. He won with the song The Code, in which the author talks about coming to terms with his identity as a man who feels neither male nor female.

“We are witnessing more of a show than the generation of any authentic musical content. From this show, people only remember the winners, who become more and more extravagant every year in order to flaunt some political trend,” he commented to NOVA.

“We see non-binary people, women with beards, scantily clad men. In general, the success of most artists and most songs is their commitment to political messages that fall into the liberal sector,” explained Tanovski.

The journalist also shared his opinion on the new ordinance, which proposes a ban on restaurants and hypermarkets in residential blocks.

“The problem is not just noise – it opens up several more questions. First, we are talking about hypermarkets in residential buildings. Before my career as a journalist, I worked in a 24-hour store and witnessed the way products are delivered. It causes traffic jams and central thoroughfares,” he says.

According to him, this measure would be better applied in the outer neighborhoods or where the roads have not yet been separated, because the roads in Sofia have nowhere to widen or narrow.

“The other issue, apart from the noise, is also about security. In hypermarkets, a lot of money is involved, and this is always an attractive part for thieves, which will have an effect on the security of those living in the block,” explained Tanovski.
