Hatice Çayır, who was arrested for inciting Recep Akınçay to kill her taxi driver husband Alper Çayır in Kaleburnu in 2005 and was sent to prison as an unconstitutional detainee until her trial, provided that it does not exceed 3 months, was brought before the judiciary yesterday after her detention period expired.
Hatice Çayır, who was arrested 18 years after the murder, was brought to Iskele District Court yesterday and the case was postponed to next week to start the hearings.
The prosecutor declared that the PI (preliminary investigation) hearing of the case would be held and that he would meet with the defense, and requested that the case be postponed until November 30.
The court approved the request.
