This is what we know about “Law of Vengeance 2”

Almost two years have now passed since it was revealed that “Law Abiding Citizen” (the film’s original English title) wasn’t over yet. It has already been revealed that Gerard Butler will get the project off the ground as a producer himself – together with producer Lucas Foster. In addition, “Equilibrium” maker and “Expendables 4” and “The Beekeeper” writer Kurt Wimmer is back on board as a screenwriter. Foster also announced that he was looking forward to seeing “these great characters” again – which probably meant Nick Rice (played by Jamie Foxx) and Clyde Shelton, played by Butler. Anyone who knows the film will probably have one or two question marks on their foreheads…

Are Foxx and Butler really returning?

However, since the announcement of the plans to actually continue “Law of Vengeance” after all these years, the project has become quiet again. Is the team around Gerard Butler and Co. still working on it or has it perhaps already been abandoned? Only time will tell.

Without giving any spoilers at this point: We would be very curious to see what would happen after the end of the first part – and whether not only Butler and Foxx would return in front of the camera, but possibly also F. Gary Gray (“Negotiable Matter”, ” Fast & Furious 8”) as director.
