Chittagong Hill Tracts Minister of State Kujendra Lal Tripura MP said that the evil power of 1971 has damaged state resources and life and property and disrupted the development of the country.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of tree planting campaign and tree fair at the town hall of Khagrachari district on Thursday (August 1).
According to the press release of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, the State Minister officially opened the program by cutting the ribbon and blowing balloons. About 1000 different species of forest, fruit and medicinal plants are exhibited in 25 stalls in the fair.

He said, today’s students will own this country one day. They will be wise, intelligent and skilled in building a developed and smart Bangladesh.
Kujendra Lal Tripura said tree plantation drive and tree fair in Khagrachari will make the country livable and save the environment. The time has come, we take a vow now, we will not kill trees mercilessly. I will save the forest. Then we will be saved from natural calamities.
