Chance Perdomo died on Saturday, at age 27, in an accident while riding his motorcycle. The protagonist of the Netflix show based on the historical comic, Kiernan Shipka took a few days to process the news and this Tuesday she turned to her networks to share with her followers the pain she is going through and to pay tribute to her former castmate and friend.
“This hurts. He was a unique and kind soul. Simply, the most ardent, creative, loving, connected and affectionate force you can imagine,” the actress began by expressing in a long text that she uploaded to her account. Instagram along with several images that show the close relationship that united her with Perdomo.
“As playful as he is kind. As loving as he was hilarious. He never stopped making me laugh. He used to give me a piggyback ride to my trailer! Thank you, Chance,” the letter continues. “His humanity was a generous gift to me and so many people. I really find it very difficult to imagine this world without him.
One of the celebrities who commented on his message was Lucy Davis, another of the actresses in the series. In her own account, who played the funny Aunt Hilda, she expressed: “This is not believable to me. I saw Chance just before Christmas and, as always, she had a radiant smile on her face, and she was so happy with the work she was doing at Gen V”.

Although the details of the fatal episode are still unclear, the artist’s manager confirmed to the press that the death occurred as a result of the road impact, and that there were no other victims.
