Thank you, Chance,” the letter continues. “His humanity was a generous gift to me and so many people. I really find it very difficult to imagine this world without him.

One of the celebrities who commented on his message was Lucy Davis, another of the actresses in the series. In her own account, who played the funny Aunt Hilda, she expressed: “This is not believable to me. I saw Chance just before Christmas and, as always, she had a radiant smile on her face, and she was so happy with the work she was doing at Gen V”.
