Even now, the Indian team headed by Rohit Sharma with the leading players of KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin and Chahal has gone to Australia to play in the T20 World Cup.

VVS Laxman, president of the National Cricket Academy and temporary coach of the Indian team, has said that it is very difficult to select the Indian team for the World Cup as there are many talented players competing for the ODI World Cup in India next year.

Speaking about this, VVS Laxman said there are many talented players. The competition between them is healthy to watch. Picking the Indian squad for the ODI World Cup in India next year (2023) will be a tough task for the selectors.
