Koror explained the cancellation of the meeting by the need to hold discussions with shareholders and added that she intends to call the meeting again later.
The controlling owner (69.56%) of the beverage company tried to lead a move to change the nature of the management, in the framework of which Gat, who has been serving for 15 years as CEO and chairman of Yapaura-Taburi, will cease to serve as CEO, and will be appointed a full-time active chairman. Karor Holdings explained the change in the desire to ensure continued managerial continuity and the utilization of Gat’s knowledge, experience and abilities, in favor of mentoring and supporting the appointed CEO. However, Karor requested that Gat receive a monthly payment of NIS 150,000, plus VAT, compared to a monthly payment of approximately NIS 170 A thousand shekels for both positions. This is despite the fact that the current payment consists of approximately NIS 37,000 for his services as chairman and the bulk of the amount (approximately NIS 132,000) for his services as CEO.
