Indrajith says that Pius in Classmates was a character who showed the audience another face of his actor who was doing serious roles. In an interview with Club FM, Indrajith spoke about the change made by his classmates.
‘It’s a turning point in classmates’ lives. He did a lot of serious characters before that. The first humor is in the movie Mullavalli and Thenmavu. After that, Pius became a huge hit with his classmates. My new face was presented to the audience by classmates. After that Happy Husbands did, Husbands in Goa did, Amar Akbar Anthony, about to do some humorous characters. Classmates was the film that opened my new face to the audience as an actor, ‘said Indrajith.
‘Purnima is the turning point in my life. We started together. Married at 22 years old. He had no idea what to do or where to go. The last 20 years have been a life of upliftment from there.
Our marriage went through a lot of ups and downs. Like a fantasy marriage or the perfect couple that many say, nothing like that. There have been minor quarrels, quarrels and misunderstandings. But at the end of the day there is love. We will understand each other. I’m thankful to her for that, ‘he added.
Indrajith’s latest release is Patham Valavan. M. Suraj Venjaramoodu also played the lead role in the film directed by Padmakumar. Indrajith’s upcoming film ‘Port’ is directed by Rajeev Ravi. The port, starring Nivin Pauly, was announced to be released on June 3rd but was postponed to the 10th. Indrajith plays the role of Santi Gopalan.
The film stars Darshana Rajendran, Sudev Nair, Arjun Ashokan, Poornima, Joju George and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles.
